Santa Bárbara Estate is divided in three geographical regions Santa Bárbara, Fredonia and Amagá covering 450 hectares of productive land. NAKI RUN AMUCK

Sunday 25th May was Ozone Coffee Roasters second year sponsoring and running in the Naki Run Amuck event held at Urenui’s Beach camp. Our event crew of baristas brewed espresso while the braver ones were participating in the 5km team run challenge. MICE and Melbourne City

MARIMBONDO - BRAZIL EARLY HARVEST CUP OF EXCELLENCE

Last October, James (pictured above) and I were cuppers on the international jury at the 2013 Brazil Early Havest Cup of Excellence competition, held in the beautiful Carmo de Minas region of Minas Gerais state. Guji Shakiso is a stellar Grade 1 coffee from the Shakiso region of Sidamo, Ethiopia 100km SW of the famous Yirgacheffe sub-region. This Guji Shakiso micro-lot is the product of only 6 farmers who each own between 20-60 hectares each and produce only around 300 bags of this special coffee every year.
