Two weeks ago our friends at Rafting New Zealand headed out on a South Island Safari – Helicopter- 4x4 – Rafting adventure ...pretty much NZ’s ultimate Rafting Adventure. As you can see the trip was helped along by a few sponsors such as our good selves.

They took on the mighty Buller River, a Class 3-4, the Mokihinui River at Class 4, and the Perth River weighing in at a hefty Class 5.

The Mokihinui and Perth rivers are only accessible by helicopter, and the Perth River is considered one NZ’s knarliest and beautiful river trips.

The tour crew stayed at the Rough n Tumble Lodge on the Banks of the Mokihinui River, and at Franz Josef.

The entire tour enjoyed epic weather, a great crew of people, awesome rivers, lovely accommodation, great food....not to mention the coffee found at great spots along the way like Cafe Encounter in Kaikoura.
